YardCard produces durable medical reference cards designed for use in clinical settings. These pocket cards are often used by NHS departments and training organisations to make key clinical guidance easier to carry and refer to during everyday work.

Many teams find it helpful to provide staff with a small reference card when introducing a new pathway, escalation tool or clinical guideline. A pocket card can make important information quickly accessible on the ward without needing to refer back to larger documents or digital systems.

Cards are printed on PVC with rounded corners and are designed to be carried on a lanyard, badge reel or in a pocket. The aim is to provide a practical and durable reference tool that can be used regularly in clinical environments.

Custom cards are produced in bulk runs, with a minimum order quantity of 250 cards. Smaller departmental runs often begin at this level, while larger hospital or regional programmes may order several thousand cards. As with most print production, the cost per card decreases with larger quantities.

Where required, existing guidance documents can be adapted into a pocket card format so that the key information fits clearly on a small reference card. This approach has been used for a range of clinical quick reference tools, including early warning score cards, escalation pathways and training resources.
